Planora ("the app", "we") is a travel-itinerary generation app. We care deeply about your privacy. This policy explains what data is processed when you use Planora, and how.
In short: Planora has no user account and no database storing your personal information. Your trips and settings stay on your device. A few features send technical data to the third parties described below.
Your trips, stops, documents, settings, quotas and achievements are stored locally on your device (and, where applicable, in your personal iCloud container managed by Apple). We cannot access them. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
When you generate a trip, the parameters you enter (destination, dates, preferences) are sent, through a secure relay (Cloudflare), to Google Gemini, which produces the itinerary. This data is used only to generate your response and not to identify you. See Google AI's policy.
When you type a city or country, the entered text is sent to geocoding services (Photon/komoot and Nominatim/OpenStreetMap) to return suggestions. No identifying data is attached.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. On first launch, iOS asks for your tracking consent (App Tracking Transparency):
AdMob may collect device and usage data per Google's Privacy Policy. The Premium subscription removes all ads.
If you use the "Report a bug" form, we receive by email the title, description, any screenshots you attach, and technical info (app version, iOS version, device model, language), used solely to fix the issue. Delivery is handled by Resend.
Premium subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We neither receive nor store your payment information.
No account, no marketing profiling by us, no third-party analytics, no selling of data. Planora does not use your device's GPS location.
Planora is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Because we keep no database about you, most of your data lives on your device and you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. For any data-related question, contact us at planora.travel.app@gmail.com.
